Supplemental: Permaban Family

This is a house created of former forum members who were permanently banished, usually for amazing feats of arrogance, attention-whoring, and stupidity, sassing the administrators relentlessly, or in Euronymous' case, being too beautiful to live. I am in a constant quest to bring new and interesting neighbors into Appleton.

Trouble in Paradise

After creating the Permaban Family, I had developed a serious problem with my Sims 2 game. No houses would finish loading. I'd get the load progress, but it'd time out at what appeared to be the very end of the load progress. It was stressful and frustrating.
I did, obviously, resolve the problem. I copied out a 'Neighborhood' folder in the My Documents save directory for the game. Then, I uninstalled the whole game, reinstalled it, and overwrote the Neighborhood folder with the old one, and while it obliterated the default scenarios the game shipped with, I was rewarded with the total return to service of Appleton!
Sad I won't have those other areas to cannibalize houses from, but what mattered the most to me was getting my game back on its feet.
